IP Excellence Charter
LLR is a signatory of the IP Excellence Charter, which is the national quality charter for IP law firms. This charter defines the practices, behaviours and commitments of firms that choose to adhere to it, with the objective of pursuing a continuous improvement approach to the quality of their services.
The National Quality Charter for IP law firms defines 3 principles, namely
- strategic advice,
- transnational advice (particularly in the implementation of the Unified Patent Jurisdiction) and
- 100% responsible advice.
These principles are accompanied by commitments translated into an action plan.
Each year, members of the Charter must carry out a self-assessment of their firm to check whether their practices comply with the provisions of the IP Excellence Charter and, if necessary, to improve them. This self-assessment covers the ten key points below.
Since 2022, LLR has been part of the pool of experts certified by Bpifrance as part of the deployment of their new programme to strengthen intellectual property within companies. This programme has the dual objective of helping companies develop a relevant intellectual property strategy and enabling managers to better assess the value of their intangible assets.
LLR’s application having been accepted, we are now able to carry out these IP strategy diagnostics, partly financed by Bpifrance.
